The Mission
Community Crusade Ministires was created to unite the Body of Chirst to reach the lost. Generational strongholds, generational curses, and the lack of hope have troubled the region. By involving local churches, ministries and pastors, we are striving to unify to see lost people saved, marriages restored, addictions broken and hurting people healed. Denominational, economic, social, and racial differences are all put aside to see Jesus glorified.
About the Ministry
Cody Holmes founded Community Crusade Ministries in 2019 in obedience to the prompting of the Holy Spirit. Cody and his wife Kimberly, along with their two precious daughters, Paisley and Brinley, live in Abingdon, VA. Cody and Kimberly have served in a few different roles since being called into ministry. Together they’ve served as youth pastors, sang in multiple church choirs, and taught Sunday School classes. Cody is now serving as the evangelism/outreach pastor at their home church, Covenant Fellowship, while Kimberly is a member of their worship team.
When asked what his vision was for Community Crusade Ministries, Cody said, “Since 2017 my vision has been for The Church to come together in unity to experience a great revival. Once we do, we can then experience the true revival that God has for us. From that unity, you will begin to see souls saved from the grip of sin, along with miracles, signs, and wonders like we have only read about and hoped for. If we are ever going to see our nation impacted for Christ, we must come together.”
